It’s finally that time
of year! The Kentucky Derby was this
past weekend, and our 22nd annual Charity Golf Classic at the
Reston National Golf Course is Wednesday, May 6th! We are almost at capacity so if you haven’t
registered you need to register HERE soon! Come out and
enjoy the warm weather and have some fun with your colleagues.
We also have our Member
Breakfast event next week, which will be hosted by VLP
Financial Advisors, on Friday, May 8th
at 8:00 a.m. This is a great chance to
meet and network with your industry colleagues.
It is also a chance to get plugged in as a volunteer for one of our
board committees. Please click HERE for details and to register.
On Saturday, May 9th,
we will have our 2nd annual FPANCA NexGen Retreat in
Washington, D.C. In addition to a
dynamic line up of speakers and great networking, attendees will be treated to a
Washington Nationals baseball game to conclude the event. So, if you are a planner age 36 or under, we
hope you will join us for this fantastic gathering of NexGen planners! Please
click HERE for the details and to register.
And finally, our 2015 Spring
Symposium is only one month away! The
Spring Symposium will be held at the McLean Hilton in the Tysons Corner
area on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Our programs committee has put together a great lineup featuring Ed Slott as our keynote
speaker. So save the date on your calendar
and register soon! Please click HERE for the details and to
register. We are also offering an ethics
course prior to the start of the main symposium program. The ethics course requires separate
registration, so if you plan to attend please click HERE
to sign up.
Please visit our Community
Calendar for a comprehensive list of
upcoming events and then add them to your calendar!
We need your feedback and
suggestions to help us make our programs even better. Please reach out to us
with your thoughts and ideas. The contact information for our Board of
Directors is listed HERE. And please get involved and volunteer for one
of our committees. It is a great way to make an impact and to build new
relationships with your colleagues.
Best Regards,
