It’s hard to believe,
but fall is right around the corner. The Redskins are in training camp and
back-to-school shopping is in full swing. I hope everyone is having a nice
summer and enjoying some vacation time with the family. July was another great month for the chapter
with an excellent luncheon program at Maggiano’s featuring timely presentations
by Lisa Kirchenbauer and David Taube.
This month we have our
first ever FPANCA Night at the Ballpark on Saturday, August 8th for the Nationals vs Rockies baseball
game at Nationals Park! Unfortunately,
at this point we are SOLD OUT of tickets.
So if you missed out on tickets this year, make sure you register early
for next year’s outing.
And back by popular
demand, on Wednesday, September 2nd we
will have another FPANCA Happy Hour event at Chima Restaurant in Tysons
Corner, VA. Our happy hour events are always fun so come
out and celebrate the end of summer with your colleagues! Please click HERE for the details and to register.
We are very excited to
announce the second annual FPANCA Community Day of Service on Friday, September 11th. We will be working directly with a local
non-profit focused on addressing the problem of homelessness in the metro area.
We will be working with Home Stretch again this year, and look forward to a
busy day with them! If you are interested in giving back to your community by
volunteering your time, please click HERE for the details and to register.
And finally, to close
out September we will have a great Luncheon Program on Thursday, September 17th at
the Bethesda Country Club featuring continuing education programs on reverse mortgages and the language of risk. Please click HERE for the details and to register.
Please visit our Community Calendar for a comprehensive list of upcoming events, and then add them to
your calendar!
We need your feedback
and suggestions to help us make our programs even better. Please reach out to
us with your thoughts and ideas. The
contact information for our Board of Directors is listed HERE. And please get involved
and volunteer for one of our committees.
It is a great way to make an impact and to build new relationships with
your colleagues.
Best Regards,
Ken
