President’s Message
Ken Robinson, CFP®
Welcome to the fourth quarter of 2015! Can you believe we are already in the final three months of the year? The leaves are changing colors, and Halloween is right around the corner! Our chapter had some great events this past month, including a very successful day of community service and a superb continuing education luncheon in Bethesda. We are looking forward to another busy month of programs and volunteer opportunities.
The upcoming October
luncheon program will be held on Thursday,
October 15th at Maggiano’s Restaurant in Tysons Corner. The luncheon will feature two
great continuing education presentations. The first topic will be Long Term Care Product Analysis followed
by a presentation on Investing for Income.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS for our annual Metro Washington Financial Planning Day event on Saturday, October 17th from 9:00 a.m.

Heights Educational Campus in northwest Washington,
DC. We are expecting a much larger turnout for this event compared to previous
years. CFP® professionals will provide one-on-one counseling and present
financial planning workshops to area residents. The benefits are plentiful – providing
needed financial information to our community and raising awareness of the
importance of financial planning. Please click HERE for more information
