President’s Message
Hi everyone and welcome
to November! Although with temperatures in the 70s, it certainly does not feel
like fall. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. In the meantime,
we have some great events planned for this month.
Please help us select
our 2016 Outstanding Members! Please click HERE to nominate someone you feel is deserving of one of our awards
for outstanding service. We need your votes!
It is hard to imagine,
but our 2016 Winter Symposium is actually less than three months away! Helen
Modly, chair of the symposium committee, has planned a fantastic event with an
impressive line-up of speakers. The
symposium, along with a separate early-morning ethics session, will be held at
the Dulles Hyatt on Friday,
January 22nd. Please click HERE for all of the details, and register soon for
the early bird rate!
Please mark your
calendars for our November luncheon program on Tuesday, November 12th at the Bethesda Country Club. The
luncheon will feature a great continuing education presentation by Jamie Lapin
on the topic of Divorce and Money. Please
click HERE for the details and to register.
And finally, to close out the year,
we have our December luncheon program on Thursday, December 10th at Maggiano’s Restaurant in Tysons Corner. The luncheon will feature the
renowned economist, Professor Peter Morici. Please click HERE for the details and to register.
Please visit our Community Calendar for a comprehensive list of upcoming events, and then add them to
your calendar!
We need your feedback to
help us make our programs even better. Please reach out with your thoughts and
ideas. The contact information for our
Board of Directors is listed HERE. And
please get involved by signing up as a volunteer for one of our committees for
2016. It is a great way to make an impact and to build new relationships with
your colleagues.
Best Regards,
Ken
