There is still time to nominate a colleague for one
of our outstanding member awards that will be presented at the January
symposium. Please visit the chapter website for a link to vote. Our December
luncheon will feature Dr. Stephen Fuller from George Mason’s Institute for
Regional Analysis giving his last presentation before his upcoming retirement.
We have benefited greatly from his work over the years and will be presenting
him with a Community Impact Award at the luncheon.
After what is usually a busy Holiday season, we
will be starting the New Year off with our January Symposium arranged by our
Chairman Ryan Fleming. Information about the agenda and the great roster of
speakers is also available on our chapter website. Be sure you are registered
for both the December lunch and the January symposium as both these events have
limited space and are usually fully booked.
As this is my last President’s message, I thank all
of you for your kindness and support during the past year. I have really
enjoyed getting to know so many of you. As always, please feel free to email me
with any comments or suggestions.
