President’s Message

Greetings! We are wrapping up our year with several great speakers still to go at our October, November and December luncheons as well as a member happy hour on Thursday, October 16^th. Please check the website for details and to register.

Our Chairman of the Board, Ryan Fleming and his committee have been working all year on the 2015 January Symposium and it promises to be one of our best programs. They have a few contractual details to finalize and then we will begin getting the word out about this very strong roster of speakers they have lined up. The Symposium will be held on January 23, 2015 at the Dulles Hyatt Hotel.

For those on the FPA media resource team, be sure to search your emails for an important email sent by committee chair, Tracey Baker on Monday, September 29^th. FPA National will now be sending media requests directly to the media resource team for response. You must click the link and accept the Media Training Agreement or you will not migrate to the new system.

Several of our board members will be attending the FPA National Chapter Leadership Conference next month to share best practices ideas with other chapters around the country. We also get a lot of good ideas out of these interactions with other chapters, and this year will be no exception.
